In dirty-dawg land, it was about the easiest PFCC week in the history of this contest. Eight people went 14-0 with 119 points, sharing in weekly honors. Another 22 went 13-1 with more than 110 points, and the top 50 averaged 103 points. Our overall leader remains Mr. Brown, who is up on everyone by 40 points. In second place is Bob Fogarty, who just happened to be one of those guys that went 14-0 with 119 points this week… yet barely made up any ground on the leader. That’s how easy the week was.

Across the NFL this week, the top teams are clearly emerging from the pack, and a few teams from the pack are getting hot at the right time. For example, the Detroit Bills emerged from a big pile of snow to lay a whippin’ on the New York Football Jets. The other Detroit team was on the receiving end of one of those from the Patriots. Also, with the Falcons leading the NFC South with a 4-7 record, is anyone else rooting for a division winner in the playoffs with a 6-10 record – shutting out an 11 win team ? The tops teams clearly are the Patriots, Seahawks, Eagles, Packers, Cardinals, Broncos, Ravens, and Colts. Teams that are peaking at the right time are the Bills, Cowboys, Browns, Steelers, Chiefs, and 49ers. Teams that have good records but are walking dead include the Lions, Chargers and Bengals. It should be a good race down to the end, with the AFC North looking really difficult to call.

This weeks game form closes Thursday… so be aware of that or you’ll miss the deadline.
