CFCC & PFCC Wrap for November 8-10

by: exRegionalWeenie (11/12/25)

Do you play CFCC? Maybe you prefer PFCC? You should play both, of course, but regardless of how you roll, you have come to the right place to see who killed it last week... and who got killed.

Week 11 CFCC

Congrats to Week 11 CFCC winner Jim Sweeney! He netted 102 points on an outstanding 13-2 record to win the weekly bragging rights. John Martynuk and Brian Miller also gained 102 points but their record wasn't quite as good (both went 12-3), so they technically tied for second place last week. Still, nice work, guys! We had a four-way tie for fourth place in points but once again the won-loss record separated the wheat from the chaff. Andy Patrick, Caiden Orosco, Pat Spoden and Isaac Rhea accumulated 98 points each. However, Andy had the best record of the week (14-1) while Caiden and Pat were 13-2 followed by Isaac's 12-3 record. The average player score this week was 64.

Week 11 CFCC Flush-the-Terlit Report

We don't focus on losers at dirty-dawg so we'll limit this negativity to just one player. Hey Corey Painter, wazzup? You went 7-8 (not awful) but LOST eight points! Yep, a -8. Eeeewwwww. Corey lost his 12 and 13. That's bad but not normally a total death sentence. However, he put his 12 and 13 on upsets.

Whoops, both lost.

Corey's score was 'good' for 408th place. Yes, that was dead last in Week 11. He fared worse than the 50+ players who failed to submit picks this week (you quitters!!).

Year-to-date CFCC Standings after Week 11

According to Gary Petti's player profile, he lives in Weeki Wachee, FL. Yes, that's a real place - it's somewhere in the swamps of west central Florida. Anyhoo, Gary overcame dangerous alligators and the lack of running water to maintain his overall lead in CFCC. In fact, Gary has been on one heck of a roll for many weeks. He stumbled in late September when he fell to 153rd place but made large gains every week thereafter, culminating in his No. 1 overall ranking the past two weeks. Linda English held on to second place and is just six points behind Gary. Mike Coyne had a strong week and jumped six places into third place overall.

We have an interesting two-person tie for fourth place so far this year. These two fellas both scored 72 points this week and both went 11-4. Also, both have 720 points this year and both have identical 116-49 records. Who are they, you ask? Well, they're both named Moseley! Howie Moseley and Dean Moseley, to be exact. Hmmm, like I said... interesting.

Florida Dummies lead the way in CFCC Group Play Standings

A sentimental favorite of ours in 2025, The Florida Dummies - Legacy took over first place in the new group standings. The Dummies were tied with The Border War still lives in KC entering the week as both had exactly 596.80 points. How's that even possible? Oh well, it's a moot point now as the Dummies took an 11-point lead when Week 11's dust settled.

Week 10 PFCC

Switching to our NFL contest, Carl Lindecrantz took home PFCC's Week 10 honors with 69 points on a 10-3 record. Congrats, Carl! Mike Murphy was in second place after scoring 63 points. Mike Johnson (no, not that Mike Johnson) was third with 61 points. He was followed by Andy Lesage and Hank Bauer in fourth and fifth place, respectively. The overall average PFCC score in Week 10 was a poor 22 thanks in part to highly-favored Buffalo's inexplicable loss to Miami.

Year-to-date PFCC Standings after Week 10

If you thought the CFCC race was close (six points separate first and second place), check out the overall PFCC standings. Teddy Overton is in first with 605 points and has a puny three-point lead over Jeffrey Overton. Wait. What? You read that correctly: Overton and Overton are the top dawgs in PFCC. Deb Bulloch is in third place (more about her in a moment). Deb is followed by Linda Kunches and Matthew Brady, both of whom have 576 points on a 99-39 record.

BoomerBacks Still First in PFCC Group Play

The BoomerBacks have a large lead in the PFCC group standings. Do you remember the Overtons and Deb Bulloch mentioned above? You better - they were in the previous paragraph and if you forgot that fast, you've got troubles. Turns out that those top three players (Overton, Overton & Bulloch) are all members of, you guessed it, the BoomerBacks! Good luck to Hurricane Elvis and No Mistakes near this Great Lake in doing any better than second or third place this year.
