Week 7 PFCC Wrap

by: Sugar (October 22)

We have 7 Weeks in the dirty-dawg books for PFCC 2014. That's seven down and...eleven to go! Only the really serious and motivated dirty-dawger can stay with it for 18 weeks. And with 7 weeks down, we have Mr. Brown at the top of the PFCC standings with 446 points and a stellar 71 and 29 record. We aren't being formal on purpose with Mr. Brown, we just don't know what his first name is. In second place is (Mr.) Clay Weir from Aubrey, Texas, also with a 71 and 20 record, only on 408 points. We have a charter dirty-dawger in 3rd place that goes by the name of Marty Mullen. Marty lives in Brunswick, OH and is 42 points off the leadership pace with 402 points on 69 victories. Way to carry the torch for the original dirty-dawgers, Marty! David Shuler from Jacksonville, FL is in 4th place with 393 points and Ron Gift rounds out the Top 5 with 392 points.

Jeff Vitale (Ve-TALLY), from the dirty-dawg mecca of Lubbock, Texas took home the Week 7 honors with 73 points and 11 wins. Jonathan Fox from Spokane, WA was the Week 7 runner-up 69 points and 10 victories. Gibson "Big Load" Rothschild of Canton, MI was tied for third with an impressive 67 points. Rumor has it that Gib's performance is even more impressive given the amount of nagging he suffers on a daily basis (inside joke). Steve Friend from Lake Forest, IL and Pasadena, Maryland's Tom Morrill were also tied for third.

In dirty-dawg's PFCC Group Play, You Said Watt? continues to lead the field with an average score of 350.80 points, followed closely by perennial powerhouse Soggy Bottom Boys with 347.20 points. ISIS was in a close third with 344.20 points.

We have the Week 8 Game Form up for your brilliant prognostications with the usual deadline of noon on Sunday. And, we're going to let Group Play stay open until the PFCC deadline for Week 8, so if you have team members to cut, send us an email. You can also still add group members through the regular interface until we pull the plug this weekend. Good luck with Week 8!
