Sikora/Bigelbach Tie for Week 1 PFCC Honors
by: Sugar (September 10, 2025)
The marathon of all dirty-dawg contests is finally under way after the big boys finally kicked off their season on Thursday, September 4. Of course, we don't
deal with those early NFL games and stick strictly (for the most part) to the Sunday/Monday games. The PFCC field had a very good week with the majority
of the games going the way the Vegas boys expected them to go. The average player score for Week 1 was in impressive 75.1 and the scores ranged from a low
of 5 points to a high of 115 points. Any PFCC week where there are no negative scores is a good PFCC week!
A total of 15 players scored over 100 points during Week 1 and those scores were led by two players that knocked down 115 points for the week. What??
John Sikora from Saint Albans, WV and Brandon Bigelbach from the NFL hotspot of Glasgow, Montana are the Week 1 co-champions. John dropped his 2 game on
the NY Giants and Brandon lost his 2 game on my Detroit Lions, unfortunately. They ran the table, otherwise, and are due congratulations from dirty-dawgers
everywhere!
We have bad news for the rest of the field as we head on over to the Group Standings after Week 1. Group titan Boomerbacks is already in the lead with a
6.25 point lead over ReLaXers and 7.25 point lead over Shedeur's Future is Oblique. Boomerbacks is always a power in PFCC group play so the rest of the
groups better buckle-up and make some heroic picks as we head deeper into the season.
We have a special treat this week for Week 2 PFCC. There are actually 15 games to evaluate, including 2 on Monday night. And as an added bonus, the deadline
is still at Noon CDT Sunday. But, don't sleep on those stupid early deadlines that will be on the docket later in the season. We will try to warn you when
those games appear. Otherwise, get those picks in now before you screw the pooch. Automated reminders will start Friday morning for PFCC players that entered
last week and don't have their picks in yet for this week. Good luck and enjoy!
