Counts every scored week since 2003 · updated Oct 17, 11:25 AM CT. How it works

The short version

You earn Dawg Points for playing, for big weeks, for strong seasons, and for being a Good Dawg.
It counts all the way back to 2003, so long-time players start where they've earned.
CFCC, PFCC and CBCC each have their own points and badge. You might be a German Shepherd in one and a Beagle in another.
Levels never go down. Once you reach a breed, it's yours.

How you earn points

Ties share a placing, so two players tied for 3rd both get Top 3 points.

Showing up

Each week you play	3
Full season (miss one week at most)	15

Big weeks (best one only)

Week winner	100
Top 3 for the week	50
Top 10 for the week	20
Top 10% for the week	10
Perfect week (10+ wins, no losses), on top of the above	40

Season finish (best one only)

Champion	600
2nd place	400
3rd place	300
Top 10	150
Top 25	100
Top 10%	75

Good Dawg (2026 on)

Each Top 12 ballot you cast (CFCC)	5
Posting your quote when you win the Weekly Podium	10
Posting your group's podium quote as commish	10

A podium quote counts when it's a real message posted before the next week's picks lock. Editing it later doesn't earn more.

CBCC (bracket challenge): each of the six rounds counts like a week (3 points for playing, plus Big Week points for your round score), every bracket gets the 15-point full season, and Season Finish points go by your bracket total.

The ladder

Points needed to reach each breed. Each contest has its own scale, because PFCC and CBCC hand out more points per season than CFCC.

FAQ

When do my points update?+

After launch, your points update each time a week is scored. Full Season and Season Finish points are added when a season is complete, so this season's come after the final week.

Do I need to do anything?+

No. Everything comes from the standings already on the site. Just keep playing.

Why does it start in 2003?+

The site began in 2002, but that season's results and scores weren't kept, so there's nothing to score.

I played under an old handle. Does that count?+

Yes, if the old handle is linked to your account. If your history looks short, use the contact form and we'll link it.

Do the house accounts count?+

No. Johnny Vegas and the other house and test accounts don't earn points, and they never take a placing from a real player.

Can I lose a level?+

No. Levels never go down. Best in Show is the only thing that can change hands.

What about the CFCC-ATS contest?+

ATS is a trial this season and doesn't earn Dawg Points yet.
