PFCC Week 1: Six Dawgs Take Cards, Everybody Else Pays

By: Sugar (2026-09-16)

The 2026 version of dirty-dawg.com's PFCC finally got underway Sunday with 13 tilts. Two takeaways: The Jets Won. The LA Chargers didn't! A whopping 56 dirty-dawgers had faith in the lesser-accomplished New York team, while the 221 member overall field took a -679 point combined loss. Of Course, that paled in comparison to the combined 2895 point thumping the field took on the LA Chargers loss to Arizona. Six Top Dawg badges were awarded to those soothsayers that were solid on The Cardinals.Β

Pucker factor was off the charts watching the Lions cough up a 21-point lead, but they survived in OT when the Saints went for two and came up empty. And Patrick Mahomes is back from his knee injury and Taylor Swift is back from her honeymoon. The average score for Week 1 was a luke-warm 51.4 points, although the Top 10 players came in with an 84.4.

Leading the way for Week 1 is John Sikora from Saint Albans, WV. John went 11-3 scoring 93 points along the way to take home the Week 1 crown. Veteran dawg, Daniel Luyk from Grand Rapids, MI was the Week 1 runner-up with 91 points and Desiree Meadows finished third with 89 points.

In group play, it was Georgian Bay Connection as the first group out of the gate, holding a 1.2 point lead over Tony's Barefoot OWIes. Don't look now, but powerhouse and current CFCC group leader BoomerBacks is just 3.2 off the top pace and Nittany Squalls is 3.7 points behind.
